We would like to inform you that, effective November 7, 2024, all services provided under the Blocktrade Platform will no longer be regulated by Estonian authorities under the VASP license number FVT000299, and that this license has been withdrawn. Instead, these services will now operate under our Slovenian branch, registered in the Slovenian Business Register and Court under registration number 9204911000, and regulated in accordance with Slovenian Virtual Asset Service Provider laws.
We do not anticipate that this change will affect the quality, security, or availability of our services. Blocktrade has always operated with multiple licenses within the EU, and we anticipate the changes to be administrative in nature.
To reflect this transition, we have updated our Terms of Use to incorporate this regulatory change and to comply with the relevant Slovenian laws. We encourage you to review the updated Terms of Use on our website to familiarize yourself with the new regulatory framework under which our services will be provided.
In addition, as the European Union’s MiCAR (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) takes effect, there may be further adjustments to our operations to comply with these new regulatory standards. These changes are designed to enhance consumer protections and the regulatory framework for crypto assets across Europe.
